Il nuovo ispiratissimo doppio cd!

A 2 di distanza dall’album reggae ‘Throw Down Your Arms’, Sinead O’Connor torna con un doppio cd fra i più riusciti della sua lunga carriera discografica. Ispirato ai salmi del Vecchio Testamento, ‘THEOLOGY’ è un doppio cd contenente splendide ballad elettroacustiche: il primo cd, Dublin Sessions (prodotto da Steve Cooney), presenta i brani in versione totalmente acustica mentre il secondo, London Sessions, (prodotto da Ron Tom) vede gli arrangiamenti con la band al completo.

‘Theology" contiene 8 brani inediti, fra cui “Something Beautiful”, “Out of the Depths” e “The Glory of Jah”, e 3 bellissime cover: una versione soul di “We People Who Are Darker Than Blue” di Curtis Mayfield, il tradizionale spiritual-reggae “Rivers of Babylon” e “I Don't Know How To Love Him” (da “Jesus Christ Superstar”) di Andrew Lloyd Webber e Tim Rice, che ha dichiarato: "E' emozionante ascoltare 'I don't know how to love him' interpretata da una cantante contemporanea così importante. La voce magnifica di Sinead mi ha permesso di trovare nuove prospettive in una canzone che è parte della mia vita dal 1970. Riesce sempre a cogliere la profondità di ciò che canta, che sia un lavoro suo o di altri".
